Yellen: Treasury Monitoring ‘a Few’ Banks Amid SVB Losses
US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said a few banks are being monitored “very carefully” and that it’s a “matter of concern” that banks such as SVB Financial are experiencing financial losses. Yellen responded to a question from Arizona Republican David Schweikert during a House Ways and Means Committee hearing on Friday.
