Summers Says Fed's 'Brakes' Not Getting Much Traction on Inflation
Former Treasury Secretary Lawrence Summers says the Federal Reserve’s policy tightening is having a limited impact on the path of US inflation. "The Fed’s been trying to put the brakes on, and it doesn’t look like the brakes are getting much traction,” he says on Bloomberg Television’s “Wall Street Week” with David Westin.
