UK Turmoil Blame Game: Kwarteng Scapegoats Bailey
UK Chancellor of the Exchequer Kwasi Kwarteng and Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey are at loggerheads as a deadline approaches for the central bank to end a bond-buying program it started to calm investors rattled by Prime Minister Liz Truss’s unfunded tax cut plan.
