Singapore Mulling New Law to Address Cancel Culture

Singapore is considering a new law to address “cancel culture” as it looks to ensure freedom of speech is not hijacked by small groups. The move comes just weeks after the government announced it will repeal a controversial law known as 377A that makes it a crime for consenting males to have sex. Singapore’s Minister of Law and Home Affairs K Shanmugam spoke exclusively to Bloomberg’s Haslinda Amin.
