Egypt's Finance Minister: We are not in a recession
Mohamed Maait, Finance Minister of Egypt said he’s worried about further significant interest rates hikes from the central bank. “I hope we can let the Egyptian economy to grow and also high cost of financing will be a problem,” he said, however “eventually inflation control is part of core business of the central bank”. He spoke to Bloomberg TV's Manus Cranny at the Qatar Economic Forum in Doha.
