The Only Language Putin Understands Is Power: Baucus

Max Baucus, a former Democratic Senator and U.S. ambassador to China under President Barack Obama, discusses the tensions between the two governments over the Covid-19 pandemic. China defended its measures to curb the virus outbreak and expressed displeasure with the U.S. over what it calls a “groundless accusation” of Chinese pandemic policies. Baucus also talks about Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Vladimir Putin’s war in Ukraine has tested ties between the U.S. and China already strained by a host of security and economic issues from Taiwan, to the South China Sea, telecommunications technology and trade. Baucus speaks on "Bloomberg Markets: China Open."
