Kroger Is Using a Robot Army to Take On Amazon, Walmart
Kroger CEO Rodney McMullen is betting big on robots. He's using them in a key 375,000-square-foot warehouse in Monroe, Ohio. Their mission: retrieve cereal, soda and 28,000 other items from 21 levels of stacked crates and then convey those goods to humans who sort and deliver them to homes. (Source: Bloomberg)
