Lebanon’s Bond Yields Surpass 200% as Default Risk Rises

Violence has erupted again in Beirut as police and protesters clash outside of parliament. About 100 people were injured according to Lebanese authorities and the Red Cross, with 47 needing hospital treatment. Clashes come amid a rapidly worsening financial crisis and the continuing impasse over the formation of a new government.
