U.S. Senate Moves to Punish Saudi Arabia Over Khashoggi Murder
The U.S. Senate has passed a resolution saying that the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is responsible for the slaying of journalist Jamal Khashoggi. The Senate unanimously passed the resolution today, calling for the Saudi government to "ensure appropriate accountability" and recommending in the meantime the U.S. stop supporting the Saudi-led war in Yemen.
