China Used Tiny Chip in Hack That Infiltrated Amazon, Apple
A Bloomberg Businessweek investigation shows that Chinese hackers implanted tiny microchips on servers that made their way into data centers at Amazon.com Inc., Apple Inc. and other companies. In emailed statements, Amazon, Apple, and Supermicro, which assembled the servers, disputed summaries of Bloomberg Businessweek's reporting.
