Bloomberg Businessweek Design 2016: Bhatt & Sewell

Baiju Bhatt is a co-founder of Robinhood, the world’s fastest-growing brokerage. A first-­generation immigrant from India, he earned his B.S. in physics and M.S. in mathematics at Stanford before he and Stanford roommate Vladimir Tenev moved to New York and started two companies selling trading software to hedge funds. In 2013, Bhatt and Tenev created Robinhood to offer free trading for everyone. The company has raised $66 million from venture capital firms New Enterprise Associates, Index Ventures, and others. Brad Sewell is the founder and chief executive officer of Campaign, where he oversees product development and growth. He has extensive experience in product manufacturing, spanning industries from automotive to consumer electronics. In his work he focuses on clever functionality, developing features that might not be visible to the eye but make a huge impact on the consumer experience.
