Artist Conrad Shawcross on 'Brilliant Ideas' | Episode 20
Born in London in 1977, Conrad Shawcross is a leading British sculptor. His work lies on the border between engineering, art and science. He often appropriates now-redundant scientific theories to create ambitious, machine-like sculptures, using a wide variety of materials. In 2013 he became the youngest living Royal Academician in history. Conrad has had solo shows at institutions around the world including ARTMIA Foundation in Beijing, the Palais de Tokyo in Paris and the Science Museum in London. In the twentieth episode of Brilliant Ideas we get the inside track on how Shawcross’s mind works. (Corrects guests name) (Source: Bloomberg)
