Amazon Seeks Robots With Human Grasp From Students

Amazon.com Inc. attracted teams from 31 universities for its first "Amazon Picking Challenge" at the International Conference of Robotics and Automation in Seattle. Each team’s robot tried to pick up a shopping list of items of varying shapes and sizes off of shelves and place them in a bin.
