"There have been some [news] articles out there that [suggest] that if there are losses, there could be a bunch of fire sales of assets... that is not correct," says Dan Pietrzak, KKR partner and global head of private credit, when discussing some misunderstandings regarding how private credit markets function. "We have $131 billion of private credit AUM, and only a limited amount of that has any redemption feature."
