As the U.K. faces a record-breaking wave of Covid infections, people are beginning to pull back on social gatherings - and that is taking its toll on business. Today on Bloomberg Daybreak Europe Radio, Zaedo Musa, CEO and co-founder of Superb, a restaurant reservation-booking platform, discusses how omicron-related cancellations are affecting the hospitality industry. Kelly Devine, Divisional President, Mastercard U.K. & Ireland, says retail sales increased in November but shops now face a period of uncertainty. But Michael Ward, Managing Director of Harrods says the decision to bring forward the department store's Boxing Day sale has nothing to do with omicron.
