In order to reorient financial markets towards social goods we need to change perceptions of finance, says David Rouch, author of new book 'The Social License for Financial Markets: Reaching for the End and Why It Counts', which comes recommended by former Bank of England Governor Mark Carney. Rouch tells Daybreak Europe's Roger Hearing and Caroline Hepker that regulation has a place, but so too does a recognition of finance's social purpose.
