Hedge Funds' Annus Horribilis to Extend into 2019
Poor hedge fund performance in 2018 can largely be blamed on an over-saturated market says Donald Steinbrugge, CEO of Agecroft Partners. Speaking to Daybreak Europe's Anna Edwards, he argues that hedge funds are not safe-havens, but that investors largely understand the industry's exposure to markets. He added that the asset class is likely to remain stable in 2019 but that we will see more hedge funds close in the coming year.
