ADM's Ostwald on the Fed's Rate Path
(Bloomberg) -- The market sell-off was about clearing out leverage in the market, says Marc Ostwald, global strategist at ADM Investor Services. He told Daybreak Europe's Guy Johnson and Matt Miller that the carry trade in emerging markets is attractive when the dollar is as weak as it is. He added that the likelihood of four hikes by the U.S. Federal Reserve this year will depend on whether inflation gains traction and the U.S. yield curve does not steepen.
