Who’s Buying Your Medical Records

Bloomberg News made records requests to each of the 20 most-populous states for lists of who's buying their hospital-discharge data. Twelve states supplied the data. Public and private corporations were the most frequent multi-state health profiles buyers. Below are the top purchasers of medical data in 2011, ranked by number of states that purchasers bought from. Rollover the purchasing organization’s name for more information.
