Truck Accident Shatters Many Lives
On Monday, Aug. 16, 2010, an Estes Express tractor trailer plowed into a red Ford Focus on the Ohio Turnpike, killing the sedan’s driver, Susan Slattery, and critically injuring her two sons. The truck driver, Doug Bouch, admitted to police that he had "dozed off." He was sentenced to five years in prison after Slattery’s husband urged the judge to warn truckers about fatigue.
