Severe Solar Storm Damage Could Top $2 Trillion
According to a study by Lloyd's of London, an extreme geomagnetic storm in the near future is almost inevitable. Such a storm that could cause widespread power outages in the U.S. for one to two years might have an economic cost of more than $2 trillion.
