The R1T is Rivian’s inaugural product, beating both Ford and Tesla as the first battery-powered pickup on the market. With its luxury price point, the Rivian R1T is both the quickest pickup available and extra capable off-road thanks to an electric motor on each wheel and a fully submersible battery. The electric truck is sure to resonate with those who are still skeptical of EVs from industry incumbents. What’s unique: The R1T offers 12 cubic feet of lockable storage from the frunk, an in-bed compartment and a clever “gear tunnel” cavity punched through the vehicle just in front of the rear wheels.
