Your AI-dentity is...

the Pro-Markets Skeptic

Illustration by Simon Landrein for Bloomberg Opition showing Pro-Markets Skeptic: There is a person seated inspecting a screen with a microscope and a separate lens. The person is wearing a green top that appears to be rolled above the forearm and blue pants.

Pro-Markets Skeptics score high on AI pessimism and low on the belief that the technology should be robustly regulated. You’re not sure AI is all it’s cracked up to be – and you may also be concerned it could actually be dangerous or at least a net negative for society. But while you’re not ready to embrace the technology, you don’t think it’s the government’s job to say what AI companies should and shouldn’t do. As you always say, “Let the market decide.”

Your AI-dentity sounds a lot like that of VC and entrepreneur Peter Thiel, a libertarian who worries about AI’s potential for surveillance.
