Nicole, now a tropical depression, is moving up the US East Coast Friday after making landfall in Florida as the first November hurricane to hit the US in 37 years. It’s expected to bring 6 inches to 8 inches of rain to the Appalachians, triggering isolated flooding. New York and New England will get 1 to 3 inches of rain.
