Who’s Who in Theresa May’s Brexit Cabinet?

Published: | Updated:

Prime Minister Theresa May was hit by a Brexiteer storm the morning after presenting her draft withdrawal agreement to her top team: Brexit Secretary Dominic Raab and Work and Pensions Secretary Esther McVey both stood down.

Since then, though, May has taken back the reins. She is taking personal control of the Brexit negotiations, as she named a low-profile junior minister Stephen Barclay as Raab’s successor. Loyal ex-Home Secretary Amber Rudd is back in Cabinet, taking up the work and pensions brief.

In addition, key Brexiteer Michael Gove and fellow Leavers Andrea Leadsom, Liam Fox and Penny Mordaunt all decided to stay in government.

Tensions are still running high, but May has put her stamp on her Cabinet once again.
