Sports betting, electoral oddsmaking, stockpicking, astrology … making predictions can be a messy business! So we try not to be too binary in our annual issue on the year ahead. Biden or Trump? Let the voters decide already! (Or maybe the courts?) Recession? We’ll leave it to the economists to get that call wrong, again. Interest rates up or down? Well, it seems pretty likely the Federal Reserve will cut them, and probably more than once. Maybe we do know what we’re talking about!
