Best Business Schools Hiring:
Manufacturing Industry

Manufacturing accounted for 3.3% of all hires—it’s again the sixth-highest of any industry drawing graduates to their first jobs after business school. While Madrid’s IE (No. 6 in Europe) sends the largest share of its graduates into the top three MBA fields—consulting, technology and finance—the school saw 31 of its graduates take on jobs in manufacturing focused on technology, product management, supply chain and marketing, among other areas, the biggest number of all schools in the ranking. Its graduates work at major global companies, according to David Suarez, vice dean of the school’s full-time MBA program, including Tesla and Amcor. He also says there are important partnerships with manufacturing companies such as Airbus.
