Obama Says North Carolina and Mississippi Bathroom Laws Are Wrong
Speaking at a joint news conference with British Prime Minister David Cameron in London, President Obama was asked about laws recently passed in two states that restrict rights for gay and transgender people. “The people of North Carolina and Mississippi are wonderful people,” the president said. “I also think that the laws that have been passed there are wrong and should be overturned.”
