Could 'Trumponomics' Work for the U.S. Economy?
Donald Trump has cast himself as the establishment’s worst nightmare, but his new economic plan borrows heavily from the traditional Republican playbook in seeking to return the U.S. economy to the pre-crisis days of headier growth. The yield on benchmark 10-year U.S. sovereign debt is above the median of year-end estimates compiled by Bloomberg for the first time, after better-than-forecast labor data spurred traders to boost bets that the Federal Reserve will raise interest rates in 2016.
