McDonnell Corruption Case in High Court (Audio)

16:39

(Bloomberg) -- Kenneth Gross, a Partner at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom, and Jeffrey Bellin, a professor at William and Mary Law School, discuss Bob McDonnel's corruption case, which is being heard in the Supreme Court today. In 2014, McDonnell, the former governor of Virginia, was convicted on 11 counts of corruption after he and his wife had accepted more than $177,000 in gifts and loans from Star Scientific in exchange for political favors. McDonnell's case has made it all the way to the Supreme Court, where he argued that it was not corruption, but business as usual. They speak with Bloomberg Law hosts June Grasso and Michael Best on Bloomberg Radio's "Bloomberg Law."
