Sizing Up a Potential Media Marriage

Time Warner and 21st Century Fox are two of the world’s biggest media giants, reaching millions of TV and movie viewers around the world. Putting them together would give Fox premium networks like HBO while creating a broader portfolio of rights for lucrative sports programming like the NBA and the NFL. Thus far Fox hasn't been able to convince Time Warner, which rejected a bid last month of about $75 billion.
