City Looks for Modern Solution to Aging Expressway

Toronto’s Gardiner Expressway has provided millions with access to the downtown core since 1955. The city's planning group recommends a proposal to remove the eastern end of the aging expressway and replace it with an eight-lane boulevard that opens the city to the waterfront, an area with increased development.
