World Gold Council is an international industry trade group. The Company seeks to stimulate and maximize demand for gold by consumers, investors, industry, and the official sector. World Gold also seeks to undertake market initiatives to drive demand as well as to lower regulatory barriers to the widespread ownership of gold products and help to develop distribution systems.
