Chicago Transit Authority

Chicago Transit Authority is based in the City of Chicago in the State of Illinois. The Authority was formed to consolidate Chicago's public and private mass transit carriers. The Chicago City Council has granted the CTA the exclusive right to operate a transportation system for passengers within the City.
