Axis-Shield ASA researches and develops medical diagnostic products. The Company's products are sold to hospitals, laboratories, physicians and non-medical users. Axis' products include tests for alcohol abuse, glycohemoglobin and glycoalbumin (diabetes) and cardiovascular disease.
