National Council of Teachers of English/The

The National Council of Teachers of English operates as a non-profit organization. The Organization promotes the development of literacy, improves teaching and learning of English, as well as language arts at all levels of education. The National Council of Teachers of English serves communities in the State of Illinois and District of Columbia.
