Nevada Election Results
Nevada could have some of the closest races in the 2022 midterm elections. Races for governor, Senate and in three of the state’s four US House districts could be competitive, according to ratings by the Cook Political Report. In the Senate race, incumbent Democrat Catherine Cortez Masto faces Republican Adam Laxalt, the state’s former attorney general. Democratic Governor Steve Sisolak is being challenged by Republican Joe Lombardo, the sheriff of Las Vegas-based Clark County. Both Republican candidates back false claims of election fraud in 2020. Their races are rated by the Cook Political Report as a “Toss Up.”
