Awards 11 October 2017

In recent months, Bloomberg Media Studios has received widespread recognition for its promotional campaign Day Zero, produced for Optum Health. The project won Bloomberg a spot on this year’s 2017 Native Advertising Awards shortlist, as well as a spot on the list of finalists in the first edition of WAN-IFRA’s North American Digital Media Awards.

Among the 70 projects entered into the 2017 North American Digital Media Awards, Bloomberg Media Studios was listed as a finalist in the Best Digital Advertising Campaign. The company is up against IBM and Le Devoir. Winners will be announced during the Digital Media North America conference in New York, which will be held on October 19-20.

Day Zero also made the Native Advertising Awards shortlist for the Best Use of Video category. Presented by the Native Advertising Institute, the shortlist acknowledges exceptional native advertising and branded content projects. Winners will be announced on November 9 at the Native Advertising DAYS conference in Berlin.

Earlier this year, the MIN Campaign of the Year Award recognized Day Zero in the Advertising Campaign: Drugs and Remedies category, while HOW Magazine honored Bloomberg Media Studios with a Promotion & Marketing Design Award.

The short film tells the story of Optum’s commitment to improving health care with data through the lens one patient’s journey to find a life-saving liver transplant. The creative team behind Day Zero includes Art Director Fernando Mancuello and Kim Coyle, Project Producer Edward Adams, Video Producer Scotty Shuckies, Video Editor Mark Robin, and Project Manager Matthew Wurman.
