"Tech has been a huge sector for us over the past ten years, made up of Googles and Amazons and also startups," says Kristen Fitzpatrick, managing director of the office of alumni and MBA Career and Professional Development at Harvard Business School (103 of whose grads took jobs in the industry). Across the board, tech has been increasingly in-demand with MBA grads, accounting for 22.7% of all MBA hires, the second highest of any industry. Harvard and Stanford tech grads took home the highest median salaries, at $150,000. Globally, 220 graduates of the Indian School of Business went into tech jobs, the most of any school on this year's Best B-Schools ranking.
