Technology Industry
Technology in 2025 accounted for 1,968 hires from 95 participating business schools. While heavy cuts across the industry have made it more competitive in recent years, demand for AI, machine learning and digital transformation have created opportunities for grads. The programs with the highest number of MBAs entering the tech industry after receiving their degree are Indian School of Business, which sent 179 graduates; TAP Management Institute, also in India, which accounts for 135; and Wharton, which sent 103.
Technology is the fourth best paid among 26 industries reported in survey data used for our Business School ROI calculator, with median compensation (salary plus bonus) of $175,856, or 3.4% more than the median for all fields.
