The Bloomberg Terminal® service includes a number of features that assist users with disabilities, including screen reader compatibility and color vision deficiency support. Our UX team strives to build an inclusive product without barriers for any user.

Users can use industry-standard screen readers, like JAWS®, to interact with the Bloomberg Terminal desktop application. To learn more about the level of coverage and required integration steps for screen readers, please contact us. 

In addition, the Bloomberg Professional® mobile app works with VoiceOver (iOS) and TalkBack (Android).

To make it easier for users with color vision deficiency (CVD) to differentiate between color-coded screen items across the Bloomberg Terminal, we provide alternate color schemes optimized for the two main types of CVD, Deuteranopia and Protanomaly. Users can update their Terminal color scheme by running PDFU COLORS <GO>.
