2020 South Carolina Election Results

Donald Trump is favored to win South Carolina’s nine electoral votes. He won the state by 14 percentage points in 2016. South Carolina is considered reliably Republican and has not voted for a Democrat in either a presidential or Senate election since 1998.

However, incumbent Senator Lindsey Graham has found himself in a surprisingly competitive race this year against Democrat Jaime Harrison. The Cook Political Report has rated the race a “toss-up.”
