2020 California Election Results

Joe Biden is expected to win California’s 55 electoral votes, the most of any state. California voted for Hillary Clinton by 30 percentage points in 2016 and has voted for Democrats in the past seven presidential elections. Californians receive their ballots in the mail and can mail them in or drop them at their precinct. Because the state accepts ballots postmarked on or before Election Day, some of the state’s more competitive races may not have clear winners on election night.
