2020 Arizona Election Results

Joe Biden is hoping to flip Arizona’s 11 electoral votes to the Democratic column in 2020. The race is rated as “lean Democrat” by the Cook Political Report. Donald Trump won the state by 3.6 percentage points in 2016.

Arizona also has a competitive Senate special election contest to serve out the remainder of the late Senator John McCain’s 2017-22 term. The race features two former air force pilots, Republican incumbent Martha McSally, who was appointed to the seat at the beginning of 2019, and Democrat Mark Kelly, a retired astronaut who is married to former Representative Gabby Giffords.
