Vlad Kliatchko

Vlad Kliatchko is Chair and Chief Executive Officer of Bloomberg, the global leader in business and financial information, data, news, and analytics.

Appointed CEO in 2023, Kliatchko has served on Bloomberg’s Management Committee since 2018. He has played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s long-term strategic direction.

Kliatchko joined Bloomberg in 2003 as an engineer, after more than a decade in the technology industry. He went on to serve as Global Head of Engineering from 2012 to 2022. In this role, he led a transformation of the department – realigning engineering, product, and design teams around a client-centric development model, tripling the size of the engineering workforce, and expanding its footprint around the globe.

From 2022 to 2023, Kliatchko served as Chief Product Officer, where he accelerated the company’s investments in artificial intelligence.

He holds a degree in mathematics and computer science from St. Petersburg State University School of Mathematics and Mechanics, one of Russia’s most historic and distinguished academic institutions.

He is a member of the New York Jobs CEO Council.
