Vlad Kliatchko was appointed Bloomberg’s CEO in 2023. Vlad has been with Bloomberg for more than 20 years, holding numerous senior leadership positions, most notably Chief Product Officer and Global Head of Engineering. He has served on its Management Committee since 2018.

Appointed Chief Product Officer in 2022, Vlad led the integration of the company’s Product, Data and Engineering functions, and continues to drive the company’s strategic vision. Previously, Vlad led the company’s Engineering department for 10 years, building a diverse, global team of more than 8,000 technologists.

In 2022 and 2023, Vlad was included on the TabbFORUM 40, a list of the top technology-driven innovators who are having great impact in the finance sector. From 2015-2017, Vlad was named to the top ten of Institutional Investor’s ranking of financial industry technology leaders.

Vlad has a degree in mathematics and computer science from St. Petersburg State University School of Mathematics and Mechanics, one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in Russia.
