Tampa (Sykes)

Sykes is number 51 on the overall ranking of US business schools. The Tampa-based school is known for the opportunities it connects graduates to in the rapidly growing southestern US economy. The school has been leveraging Tampa Bay’s economic boom to expand programs and strengthen industry ties. Sykes is preparing for a leadership change, after current dean Frank Ghannadian, who has overseen Sykes for 18 years, steps down at the end of the 2025-26 academic year.

Of the five indexes this ranking is based on — Compensation, Learning, Networking, Entrepreneurship and Inclusion — Tampa (Sykes) ranked 27th in Learning, 32nd in Entrepreneurship, 34th in Inclusion, 46th in Networking and 53rd in Compensation. Index scores are based on student and alumni survey responses as well as salary data the school reports to MBA CSEA.
