San Diego (Knauss)

Knauss is number 48 on the overall ranking of US business schools. The San Diego-based school is known for offering specialized programs that are relevant to the regional economy, especially in the areas of technology, biotech, and healthcare. Programs in real estate and entrepreneurship also are recognized as standouts — the school ranked No. 9 on the Entrepreneurship Index this year.

Of the five indexes this ranking is based on — Compensation, Learning, Networking, Entrepreneurship and Inclusion — San Diego (Knauss) ranked 4th in Learning, 9th in Entrepreneurship, 11th in Inclusion, 35th in Networking and 57th in Compensation. Index scores are based on student and alumni survey responses as well as salary data the school reports to MBA CSEA.
