The class discussions. Diverse minds from over 20 different countries talking about the same business problem.

The health-care applications. This is due to location in Pittsburgh. Helped prepare me to work in the medical device industry.

Cross-registration with CMU, faculty, peers, networking opportunities, events and clubs, and culture.

I mentioned this earlier in the survey, but it had to be the experiences I shared with my classmates. Working with a diverse set of people enabled me to see unique perspectives to challenges we faced in and outside of the classroom.

Each specialization has its own full-fledged department that runs like an independent business (for example, sustainable business, supply chain management departments). This creates a focused experience for students in these fields.
