Voip-Pal.com, Inc. announced that, on February 9, 2016 the company filed suit against Apple, Inc., in the United States District Court, District of Nevada case number 2:16-CV-00260. On February 10, 2016 the company filed suit against Verizon Wireless Services, LLC, Verizon Communications Inc., AT&T, Inc., and AT&T Corp. in the United States District Court, District of Nevada, case number 2:16-cv-00271. The complaints allege infringement by Apple, Verizon and AT&T of various claims of Voip-Pal's patents. In the complaints, the Company seeks damages totaling over $7 billion. Voip-Pal has spent thirteen years and millions of dollars developing its portfolio of technologies and related intellectual property. Butler County Files Lawsuit against Centurylink Communications, Consolidated Communications, Verizon of Pennsylvania, AT&T Corp. and Comcast over Fees for 911 System

Butler County commissioners announced 15 telephone service providers in Pennsylvania aren't paying their fair share to support the county's 911 system and they owe $10.9 million. The county filed a lawsuit on February 10 against the providers, alleging failure to collect proper assessment charges. Among the companies named in the suit are Centurylink Communications, Consolidated Communications, Verizon of Pennsylvania, AT&T Corp. and Comcast. The lawsuit, filed in Butler County Common Pleas Court, seeks to recover six years of alleged shortfalls totaling $10.9 million. The county is represented by the Philadelphia law firm Dilworth Paxson, which has filed or plans to file similar lawsuits on behalf of several other Pennsylvania counties. This month, lawsuits were filed in Dauphin, Berks and Cumberland counties. Lawsuits in York and Washington counties were to be filed this week.
